Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Timeframes and Refund Amounts:

For cancellations made 60 days or more before the tour start date, we offer a full refund of the amount paid, minus a 10% administrative fee. This fee covers the costs we incur in processing your booking and subsequent cancellation. Cancellations made between 45 and 59 days before the tour start date will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee. This higher fee reflects the increased difficulty in filling your spot as the tour date approaches. For cancellations made 15 to 44 days before the tour, a 25% cancellation fee will apply. If you need to cancel within 7 to 14 days of the tour start date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. Unfortunately, for cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour or in the case of no-shows, we cannot offer any refund. These stricter policies for last-minute cancellations are necessary due to the commitments we’ve made to our local partners and the difficulty of rebooking your spot on short notice.

Single-Day Tours and Activities:

For single-day tours or activities, we require cancellations to be made at least 7 days in advance to be eligible for a full refund. This policy allows us to offer your spot to other interested travelers and maintain our commitments to local guides and service providers.

Refund Processing:

When a refund is applicable, we strive to process it as quickly as possible. However, please understand that refunds may take between 15 to 45 days to be processed, depending on the payment method used and other factors. We appreciate your patience during this process.

Unutilized Services:

Please note that we cannot offer refunds for any unutilized services during your tour. This includes, but is not limited to, meals, entrance fees, optional tours, or any other services that were included in your package but not used for any reason. This policy is necessary because we have already incurred costs for these services on your behalf.

Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances:

In cases of force majeure or events beyond our control (such as natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics), refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis at the company’s discretion. We will always strive to be fair and reasonable in these situations, balancing the interests of our clients with the financial commitments we’ve made to our partners.

Special Conditions:

Please be aware that special conditions may apply for peak season bookings, luxury train journeys, or other premium services. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. Additionally, refunds for flight tickets, train tickets, and hotel bookings are subject to the policies of the respective service providers, which may differ from our policy.

Non-Refundable Fees:


Our service fee, which covers the time and expertise we invest in planning your trip, is non-refundable in all cases. This fee compensates us for the work we’ve already completed on your behalf, regardless of whether the trip takes place.

Travel Insurance:


To protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance. A good travel insurance policy can provide coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, and lost luggage, giving you peace of mind as you plan your journey.
